Jocelyn Yeung

Jocelyn provides therapy to teenagers, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, self-esteem, and high-risk behaviors such as suicidality, self-harm, and co-occurring substance use disorders. She has received extensive training in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) from Behavioral Tech Institute.

Jocelyn has a passion for serving underrepresented groups including the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC populations. She believes in the importance of using evidence-based practices to drive long-lasting change while maintaining a compassionate and collaborative approach with her clients. Jocelyn is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and strives to help them build a life worth living.

Recognizing that every individual is unique, Jocelyn focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships by incorporating each client’s cultural background and values into the therapeutic process. She utilizes DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), and mindfulness-based approaches to support her clients’ growth and healing. She has experience with providing higher levels of care.

Jocelyn holds two Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and Forensic and Legal Psychology (FLP) from Marymount University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Binghamton University. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she has been actively involved in volunteer organizations and initiatives while engaging in meaningful experiences with diverse individuals.
